Teresa Baker's (Mandan/Hidatsa) 17-foot-long astroturf assemblage, “Wenot (Life Giver)” (2024), has recently been unveiled at the Los Angeles County Hall of Records. Hung in the lobby, the colourful geometric shapes emphasis the city's apporoach to making alternative perspectives and marginalised communities visible.
