Teresa Baker's (Mandan/Hidatsa) 17-foot-long astroturf assemblage, “Wenot (Life Giver)” (2024), has recently been unveiled at the Los Angeles County Hall of Records. Hung in the lobby, the colourful gemotric shapes emphasis the city's apporach to making alternative perspectivies and marginalised communities visible.
