Working in collaboration artists Shan Turner-Carroll and Emily Parsons-Lord will be presenting their performance based installation ‘It’s Already Happened, We’re Just in the Past’ as part of Performance Space’s Liveworks Program, on view through 23 - 27 October.
This work asks ‘in this moment of collapse, how do we fall safely, together?’ This new work lingers in this suspended jolt, when wordlessness and disorientation unyoke the boundaries between fiction and reality, so that time-travel, shape shifting, and portal crossing are possible. ‘It’s Already Happened, We’re Just in the Past’ will be activated by live performances and live sound score by Evelyn Ida Morris at select times throughout the festival.
