COMA is pelased to announce the representation of Mikey Yates (b.1992). Born in Sulzbach-Rosenberg, Yates' lives and works in Kansas City, MO, and has a BFA from Missouri State University and an MFA from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
Yates' deeply emtional and resonate figurative paintings are love songs to small moments of hope or peacefulness that encourage optimistic living. His artworks capture points in time imbued with feelings of wonderment, awe and most importanly, signifacnt and wholehearted connection.
