Fabian Ramirez – Frieze Magazine

Fabian Ramirez (b. 1994, Mexico City, Mexico) was recently included in Frieze Magazine’s Five Up-and-Coming Painters to Keep a Close Eye On. The young Mexican artist Fabian Ramírez paints dreamscapes: ghost images of vegetation, domestics interiors and other environs, concealed in a barrage of expressive colourful brushstrokes, creating kaleidoscopic abstractions that only hint towards a certain place and time.
