Works by Louise Bourgeois, Yoko Ono, and Miles Greenberg are featured in an exhibition titled 'Embrace the World from Within' at the Faurschou Greenpoint space from 1 April - 17 September, 2023.
Featuring performance, installation, and sculpture, a myriad of facets unfold across three galleries, one dedicated to each artist, to explore the idea of the embrace as a form of closeness that can mean love, acceptance, oppression and solidarity.
By placing these artistic practices together, the exhibition furthers Faurschou's mission to explore intergenerational and cross-cultural connections in contemporary art, and to provide viewers with meaningful and inspired experiences.
