Lisbon based artist Mia Middleton has been included in The New York Times Style Magazine article, 'The Art World's Next Big Thing: Tiny Paintings.'

 

The Article touches on contemporary painters working on a small scale, describing how these small works become 'intimate, seductive and unpretentious'. As Middleton puts it, they “creep up on you.”
