Teresa Baker has been included in the Hudson River Museum’s exhibition, Smoke in Our Hair: Native Memory and Unsettled Time.
The exhibition, on view 14 February - August 31, explores the nuanced layers of the past, present, and future within contemporary art by Native American, Alaska Native, First Nations, and Métis artists. Tapping personal memory, ancestral artistic practices, history, and Indigenous Futurism, their works centre intentionality, design, and materiality.
