Fabian Ramírez

Fabian Ramírez (b. 1994) graduated from the Faculty of Art UNAM in Mexico City 2016. That year he earned the prestigious national grant, FONCA. Currently undertaking a Masters at Kunstakademie Düsseldorf under Ellen Gallagher’s tutelage, Ramírez has taken part in more than thirty exhibitions, many of them in institutions including the Museum of Modern Art of Mexico City, the Museum of Contemporary Art Alfredo Zalce, the Art Museum of Sinaloa. His work has been exhibited internationally in various solo exhibitions including Mexico, Italy, USA, Australia, Austria and Germany. Furthermore, he has been invited to participate in Artistic Residences Programs throughout Mexico and Germany. In 2018 he received the Alfredo Zalce Biennial Honorable Mention. His work has been selected in by Alfonso Pérez Romo Biennale and UNAM Biennale. The artist lives and works between Düsseldorf and Mexico City.
