COMA is pleased to be participating in the virtual edition of SWAB BARCELONA Contemporary Art Fair in the Swab Seed section of the fair. COMA will be exhibiting work by Jordan Azcune, Jack Lanagan Dunbar and Justin Williams. Swab Seed showcases eleven independent and artist-run spaces that share experimentation as a common denominator. This program seeks to give visibility to new platforms and proposals that are shaking up the contemporary scene. For this edition, Swab Seed joins forces with the Fundació Vila Casas, which sponsors the participation of four independent Catalan spaces.
Swab is the contemporary art fair of Barcelona, an independent project that was born in 2006 as an experimental platform for emerging artistic proposals.
Founded by architect and collector Joaquín Diez-Cascón, Swab is an event that brings together up to 80 galleries from the international scene and functions as a meeting point for the cultural sector on a global scale.
With 12 editions under its belt, the fair faces 2020 while maintaining its mission of supporting the spaces and disciplines that are changing the course of the art scene. This edition will take place from October 1 to 15, 2020, in an exclusively digital form.
