COMA Unveils New Flagship Venue
COMA is pleased to announce the opening of our brand new flagship gallery space, located in the heart of Marrickville.
Largely inspired by the major warehouse-style galleries of Los Angeles, we have transformed a 490-square-meter former coffee manufacturer into an expansive exhibtion space with private viewing rooms and a merchandise space.
Our inaugural exhibition for this space is a solo presentation by Australian artist Justin Williams titled 'Waiting for Lavender,' delves into themes of migration, belonging, and the search for a place to call home. Drawing on familial history, his upbringing in the foothills of Victoria’s Dandenong Ranges, and recent time spent in Paris and Santa Fe, Williams welcomes viewers into a world where identity, family, and the quest for stability intertwine.
